Siang ko nyo mecakan gelas maknyo. This afternoon she broke her mother’s glass.
Waktu maknyo nanyo, “Siapo yang mecakan gelas tu?” nyo diam ajo. When her mother asked, “Who broke the glass?” she was just quiet.
Maknyo nanyo sekali lagi, “Kau apo bukan yang mecakan gelas tu?” Her mother asked her once again, “Were you the one that broke the glass?”
Anak tu malah nanyo balik, “Gelas yang di ate meja?” Instead the kid asked back, “The glass that was on top of the table?”
Da tu maknyo jawab, “Iyo, yang di dekek tas mera tu nah.” After that her mother answered, “Yes, the one that was near the red bag.”
“Ohh… iyo, kami yang mecakan, tas tu jugo tas kami.” “Ohh… yes, I did break that, and that’s my bag.”
