Sigit is Teaching Assistant in the Department of Indo-Pacific Language and Literature at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He is sponsored by Fulbright Scholarship to teach Indonesian to university students and introduce the rich culture, language and life style of Indonesia. Sigit was born in the Island of Kalimantan. He speaks one of the local language of the island that is Banjarese, a language that is spoken by roughly 3 million island throughout the nations.  His background in teaching, ambassador of culture and community development drives him to learn and contribute more to society.
